JOHAN GIRALDO

I am a post-graduate architect with a part 2
masters from London South Bank
University. I have worked in 2 RIBA charted
architecture practices where I have gained
a lot of experience, knowledge and
developed my skills as an architect and a
designer.

I chose to pursue a career in architecture because I believe that as architects, we have the power to design and build better environments that can have a huge contribution to someone’s life in a positive way. In my dissertation I wrote about prison design and rehabilitation. In my dissertation I explored which was more effective, punishment or rehabilitation? How can architecture play a role in the way a prisoner is rehabilitated and how can architecture contribute to the process of a successful rehabilitation?
